Thanks for the alternative suggestion, really appreciated.

I've liaised with our Electronics Engineer, and he has suggested another alternative of MAX6010AEUR+T which can be got from Mouser MAX6010AEUR+T Maxim Integrated | Mouser United Kingdom. This is our preferred option.

We will get some of the alternatives to trial on the two boards we have kept. The BOM will also be up issued and sent over accordingly.

Good idea to perform a test on the outputs on this particular board.

I will send a counterpart PCB and power leads. This will be the easiest way for you to perform the output tests. I will follow up with some basic instructions on this.

This project has been re-developed to accommodate the ATSAMV70N19B-AABT main processor. I can inform you that bf1systems has a dedicated stock of processors for this project.

I believe the RFQ remains the same as the previously designed revision C part.

As we have had to redevelop this product, please can I impress upon you that we are very much behind the customers time schedule now so anything that can be done to not cause further delays would be great.

However, knowing you all at ACL I am already confident that you are already doing your best to deliver in this component crisis.

Thank you for the analysis of our previous manufactured boards.

As they are all round the edge on the device it might be possible to get them re-soldered.

I have approached the manufacturer for comment. The new board that replaces this one will be thicker. This was supposed to be 1mm thick but got reduced in order to meet 50R impedances in the RF paths.

I will be revisiting the microstrip design.

I have placed orders with ACL going forward.

Thank you for repairing the boards from previous supplier, we will collect these with first shipment of assembled ACL boards.

I have been working on a new design that is needed urgently. The design is call XX-XX-XXXX.

The design is largely a copy and paste of circuits already used by us and produced ACL. So with fingers crossed I am hoping that this will mean the components are all available.

Yes thanks, PCBs all received. We are over the moon with how well they are put together and the three samples that I sent to PEL have been tested and work perfectly, although untested as of yet, I am sure we will be able to say the same for the others. Kiera was great at managing the transfer and you were honest and transparent about component shortages and managed expectations around lead times perfectly, which is just what we like from suppliers.
